Job Description

Micro Soccer Camp Instructor

Job Description

Instruct a diverse group of 4-7 year old children the fundamentals of soccer needed to optimize their experience and enjoyment in youth sports.


  1. Must be available to work Monday through Thursday evenings May 29-June 19, 2017. The commitment is for the entire Micro Soccer Camp schedule. Regular and punctual attendance is required for all sessions of the camp.
  2. Knowledge of the game of soccer and ability to demonstrate and teach the basic soccer skills in a fun and safe environment.
  3. Enthusiastic, always gives 100% effort, and respectful of the players, parents, Camp Director MPRD staff, fellow instructors and the general public.
  4. Desire to work with children in the realm of youth sports.
  5. Experience working with children 4-7 years in age in a group setting.
  6. Exude patience throughout entire shift
  7. Ability to effectively communicate principles of good sportsmanship.
  8. Ability to concentrate in a situation with many possible distractions.
  9. Ability to constantly exhibit a good attitude.
