SOFTWARE SUPPORT SPECIALIST 

Finance Department - Reports to: Information Systems Manager

Regular/ Full-time/ Non-exempt position                 Open Until Filled

Full Salary Range:  $46,363.20 - $73,424.00

An incumbent in this position is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of the City of Manhattan’s information technology systems hardware and software.  This position also is responsible for the daily operation of the City’s Power7 server, iSeries (formally known as AS/400), Xerox copier/fax/printers, electronic meter reading systems, and supporting software applications for most departments. The incumbent will schedule and execute selected applications, process and distribute output on a routine basis as well as perform data entry tasks as needed.
