Job Description

Recreational Attendant (Seasonal)  

Open until filled

Wage:  $10.00/hr.

  1. The essential function of this position is to:
    1. Open and close gym: 8am-12pm and/or 3pm-9pm (Hours will vary)
    2. Greet and interact with gym participants/visitor in a courteous and professional manner.
    3. Check guests shoes if they are participating in any activities on the gym floor
    4. Organize and maintain supplies and work space
    5. Have the ability to work independently on any assigned projects such as cleaning, equipment set up, organizing, and activity planning.
    6. Have working knowledge of how to use Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point)
    7. Ability to lift and carry up to (40) pounds.
    8. Maintain cleanliness of the center up to desired standards
    9. Assist with any special events carried out by the center
    10. Represent Douglass Cener in a respectable manner
    11. REQUIRED:
      1. MUST BE CPR/First Aid certified
