Job Description

ASSISTANT GROUP LEADER (Little Apple Day Camp)

Wages:  $9.00/hour - $10.00/hour

The essential function of this position is to be responsible for working directly with youth. Campers 5-12 years of age by implementing and directing recreational programs in arts and crafts, music, nature, life sports outdoor recreation and games. Will accompany campers on field trips and visits to public recreational facilities.  Must be available to attend a meeting on April 2nd and an in-service training session, May 29-31. This position includes fulltime daytime hours (7:30 am-5:30 pm), Monday-Friday, June 3-August 2.

Minimum requirements:  One year of college education, work/volunteer experience with school age children, courses in recreation, education, psychology, or sociology preferred. Current CPR/First Aid Certification required; mandatory KBI background check required.
