Job Description

Youth Sports Fall Program Supervisor

The essential function of this position is supervising for Flag Football, Soccer, and Volleyball.  This would include setting up facilities and fields, supervising the programs participants, spectators and staff. Hours are available on the following days for each sport:

Soccer – Monday-Thursday (evening hours)

Flag Football – Tuesday & Thursday (evening hours), Sunday (afternoon-early evening hours)

Volleyball – Sunday (afternoon hours)

Responsibilities

  1. Opening and preparing facility for use prior to arrival of participants, spectators and staff
  2. Supervision of other staff members and making necessary changes in officials and scorekeepers schedules if needed
  3. Welcome staff, players, coaches and spectators as they arrive
  4. Observe staff, participants, coaches, spectators and all aspects of the game and facility
  5. Ensuring rules, policies and procedures are being observed and followed
  6. Respond to all incidents, accidents and injuries.Document and report
  7. Keep facilities clean and stocked with necessary supplies
  8. Observe and track severe weather.Make necessary decisions
  9. Closing responsibilities
  10. Assist Recreation Supervisor/Coordinator in other aspects of facility and programs

Qualifications

  1. Some knowledge of the sports is preferred
  2. Attend all scheduled meetings or trainings
  3. Enthusiastic
  4. Patient
  5. Highly organized
  6. Dependable
  7. Self-motivated
  8. Ability to work 10-20 hours per week including weekends

Salary

$9.00/hour
