Job Description

SEASONAL EDUCATOR                                           FLINT HILLS DISCOVERY CENTER

Job is generally described as program support. Work is intermittent part-time. 

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Seasonal Educator is an integral part of the education team at the Flint Hills Discovery Center. This individual provides critical program support to team members in a variety of program settings. The Seasonal Educator works closely with the Programs and Education Animals Supervisor and the Curator of Education to implement a wide variety of engaging and informative programs including but not limited to preschool programs, day camps, adult lectures/programs, education birthday parties, and special events. This individual must also possess the drive and maturity to work independently, sometimes being the only staff member assigned to a program.

This is an ongoing paid position with a pay rate of $9.25/hr. The schedule is variable but incumbents must have frequent weekend and evening availability.
